Every morning, Cosmisk tells you the one change your Meta ads need.

It reads your ads, your results and what you sell, and shows you the numbers behind every call. It never touches your account. Built for Indian D2C brands.

This morning’s one thing /costing you money/sample account

₹4.9L has gone into two ads that stopped working three weeks ago, and both are still running.

Pause both, then move their budget in steps to the three ads that are still improving, starting with “₹999 for 30 Days”.

Weekly ROAS, last six weeks

Cosmisk is built by Smashed, the performance studio that has made and run Meta ads for 330+ brands, including these:

  • OZiva
  • The Derma Co
  • The Good Bug
  • Alpino
  • Phool
  • Human and the Beast
  • MNMLST
  • Rise for Men
  • SkinQ
  • Licorice.com
01Sound familiar

Every morning starts with the same question: what do I change today?

  • “Our ROAS fell from 3.6 to 2.8, and five people have five theories.”

Your agency blames the creative, your growth hire blames the website, and Meta says the campaign is still learning. Nobody goes back to the numbers to check which of them is right.

  • “Our best ad is still running, and people have seen it seven times.”

It worked, so nobody paused it. Now it takes the biggest share of your budget and brings back the least.

  • “I asked ChatGPT and it gave me seven possible causes.”

A list of causes still leaves you to pick one. ChatGPT has never seen your account, your price or what happened in your last 42 days.

  • “I spend every morning in Ads Manager, Shopify and three spreadsheets.”

Thirty-seven numbers moved overnight and one of them matters, but on screen it looks just like the other thirty-six.

What Cosmisk sees inside the ad

  1. 01

    Hook at 0:00

    “We kind of messed up.”

The ad opens on a confession in its very first line.

  2. 02

    Offer

    20% off samplers, today only

The offer stays on screen for the whole ad.

  3. 03

    Angle (our reading)

The discount is told as a story.

The team presents the offer as their own mistake, so it doesn’t read like a sale.

  4. 04

    People at 0:02

Two people talk to camera at a table.

They’re on screen by 2.5 seconds.

  5. 05

    Product at 0:04

The tins are opened in hand, close up.

Four flavours appear in four seconds.

  6. 06

    Proof at 0:07

    “But you guys started ordering”

Customers ordering is used as the proof.

  7. 07

    Pacing

    Four scenes in eight seconds.

Captions run the whole way through.

In your account, everything Cosmisk sees in an ad is matched to what that ad spent, what it returned and how often people saw it. So if it tells you confession hooks hold attention longer than straight offers, that comes from your own results.

What Cosmisk sees inside the ad

  • It opens on the problem, then shows the fix.
  • Real hands in a real kitchen, so it looks like a customer filmed it.
  • The product dissolves within two seconds, before people can scroll away.
  • It ends on a ₹999 price with no discount attached.

“Summer Sale 40% Off”

What Ads Manager shows

1.8

ROAS, frequency 6.8

What Cosmisk sees inside the ad

  • The discount is the whole message, so once people have seen it there’s nothing new to say.
  • Its claim is one any brand in the category could make.
  • It never shows the product doing anything, so there’s no proof it works.

Across this account’s 47 ads, the ones that show the product working in the first two seconds return 4.1× against 2.3× for the rest. That’s a correlation across one account, and we label it as one.

Sample account

Every ad, sorted, watched and charted.

Cosmisk puts each ad in its format, notices which ones people are tired of, and tracks what each returns week by week.

Here are 34 ads our studio made.

04The system

One tired ad can drag down your whole account.

It starts with one ad the same people have seen almost seven times.

Illustrative, sample brandIn build
  1. Your ad

    “Summer Sale 40% Off”

    6.8 times

Your “Summer Sale 40% Off” ad has now reached the same people 6.8 times, and clicks have dropped from 2.6% to 1.1%.

  2. What Meta charges you

    Cost per sale

    ₹612 → ₹777

With fewer people clicking, each sale now costs you ₹777 instead of ₹612, even though you haven’t spent a rupee more.

  3. Your orders

    Orders

    −21%

That means 21% fewer orders than three weeks ago.

  4. Your website

    Product page conversion

    2.1%

Your product page still converts 2.1% of visitors, exactly as before, so the website isn’t what’s hurting you.

  5. Your return

    ROAS

    3.6 → 2.8

Put together, your ROAS has slipped from 3.6 to 2.8 in 21 days, and it all started with one ad.

05Brand context

Cosmisk knows what you sell before it answers.

You ask

“Why are my offer ads doing worse than the rest?”

What Cosmisk knows about your brand

  • You sell a clinically dosed supplement, 400 mg per serving.
  • At ₹1,299 it’s priced above most of the category.
  • People take it every day, so you’re selling a daily habit rather than an impulse buy.
  • It’s formulated by a doctor.

Read from your website and product pages.

The answer a tool without your brand would give

Your offer ads have a lower ROAS than your other ads. Try a bigger discount or a new offer to lift conversions.

What this is based on

Only your Meta numbers. For a premium product people take every day, a deeper discount makes the problem worse.

06Reasoning

ChatGPT gives you a list of guesses. Cosmisk checks each one against your account.

A general assistant

Why did our ROAS fall?

ROAS can fall for many reasons. Common causes include:

  • •Creative fatigue
  • •Audience saturation
  • •Rising CPMs
  • •A landing-page issue
  • •Your offer
  • •Tracking or attribution
  • •Seasonality

It depends on your specific situation. Could you share more details?

It only knows what you paste in. It has never seen your account, your brand or your history.

₹4.9L has gone into two ads that stopped working three weeks ago, and both are still running.

Neither has been paused or cut back. “Summer Sale 40% Off” is the biggest spender in your account, and “Before/After 60 Days” is the fourth biggest.

What the numbers show (from Meta, ad by ad, over the last 42 days)

Weekly ROAS over 42 days. Summer Sale 40% Off falls from 3.5 to 1.8 and Before/After 60 Days from 3.7 to 2.1, while ₹999 for 30 Days climbs to 5.2. Account average 3.2.2345Week 123456Account average 3.25.2₹999 for 30 Days2.1Before/After 60 Days1.8Summer Sale 40% Off

People have seen it 2.1 times on average, its return improves every week, and its budget isn’t holding it back.
Account average

Both worn-out ads now return roughly 40% less than this.

What Cosmisk thinks is happening

These are your two oldest running ads, and the same people have now seen each of them five to seven times.

Both were good ads when they launched, returning 3.4 or more against your account average of 3.2. They kept working until the people they reach had seen them too often.

Another possible reason. A competitor may have started bidding for the same people, which would push up what Meta charges you. Cosmisk can’t see other advertisers’ data, so it can’t rule this out completely, but the frequency numbers explain the drop better.

What to do

About 2 minutes in Ads Manager, and you make the change

Pause both ads, then move their budget in steps to the three ads that are still improving, starting with “₹999 for 30 Days”.

Our assumption. We’ve planned on the moved budget returning about 3.5 rather than the 5.2 that ad returns today, because an ad nearly always returns less once it’s given more budget.

09Honest limits

When your data can’t answer, Cosmisk tells you.

A confident answer built on half the evidence can send your budget the wrong way, so Cosmisk tells you what’s missing instead.

You ask

“Is the Summer Sale bringing back repeat buyers?”

Meta ads (42 days), Creative (47 ads read)

Cosmisk answers

Not yet, because any answer now would be a guess.

Meta can show who bought once, but whether they came back to buy again is in your store’s order data, which Cosmisk can’t see yet. Once your store is connected, Cosmisk can answer this.

11How early access works

Here’s what happens after you sign up.

  1. Step 1: Connect

    Connect your Meta ad account.

Cosmisk only gets read access. It looks at your campaigns, ads and results, and it can’t edit, pause or spend anything.

Figures from Smashed, our performance studio.

Hi, we’re Vishant and Sanskar.

We run Smashed, a performance studio. Over the last few years we’ve made more than 6,000 ads for over 330 brands, and those brands have sold more than ₹100 crore through them.

Every one of those accounts has the same kind of morning. ROAS moves. The agency blames the creative, someone else blames the website, and a founder spends two hours in Ads Manager trying to find the one thing that actually changed.

We’ve done that search for our clients more times than we can count. Cosmisk is how we do it, written down, so you don’t need an agency sitting next to you to get the answer.

It’s still in private build, and we’re letting brands in one at a time. If you run a D2C brand on Meta, we’d like yours to be one of them.

13Questions

Questions founders ask us.

  • Is Cosmisk live?

Not yet. Cosmisk is in private build, and everything marked “Built” on this page works in the current build. Anything marked “In build” is still being made. We’re opening early access one brand at a time.

  • What does it read?

Today it reads your Meta ad account, which means your campaigns, your results and the ads themselves, with every video watched frame by frame. Shopify, Google Ads and your website come next.

  • Can it change my ads or spend my money?

No. Cosmisk can only read your account and tell you what it found, so every change is one you make yourself in Ads Manager.

  • How is this different from asking ChatGPT?

A general assistant only knows what you paste into it. Cosmisk works from your account’s own history and checks each possible cause against your numbers. When the data isn’t enough to decide, it tells you.

  • Who is building it?

The team behind Smashed, a performance creative studio that makes and runs Meta ads for D2C brands. Cosmisk is the tool we wanted for the accounts we run ourselves.

  • What will it cost?

We haven’t set a price yet. Early-access brands will hear it first, before anything is charged.

Find out what your account has been trying to tell you.

We’ll only email you about early access.

What works in our private build today: Cosmisk can read a Meta ad account, break down video ads frame by frame, and draft new creative based on the ads that are already working for you. Everything marked “In build” above is still being made, and Cosmisk isn’t open to brands yet.
